Eeshani Buddi is an 18 year old, confident, enthusiastic, and empathic young girl who is a delight to be around. She is diligent, responsible and sets a good example for her siblings.

Eeshani is a graduate of Appleton North High School, having excelled in academics and school activities. She will be pursuing her undergraduate education at Carleton College, Minnesota
Achievements
Eeshani is the Founder and outgoing President of Appleton North Interact club, which was awarded a platinum distinction for achieving community service, leadership, global service, and strategic goals established by Rotary International.
Arangetram
The word ‘Arangetram’ is derived from the Tamil and Malayalam languages meaning ‘ascending the stage’ by a Bharatnatyam dancer on the completion of training. Subsequently, the dancer becomes eligible to teach the art form to other aspiring dancers.

Salangai Pooja is the presentation of bells by the teacher to the student. It is performed when the student has a good grasp of taala (rhythm), sollu kattu (Bharatnatyam bol) and mudras (gestures). Eeshani will work on bhaava (expression) from this point (Salangai Pooja) onwards making her training complete for the arangetram.
She was placed first in Appleton in level 2 piano by The Royal Conservatory of Music in 2013. Incorporated in 1886, RCM is one of the largest and most respected music education institutions in the world.
